Please explain the body composition scale safety.
The Arboleaf Body Composition Smart Scales are safe to most people. However, please read Warnings and Cautions first before use the products. Do not use if you have a pacemaker, artificial lung, ECG, or any other internal medical devices.
The Smart Scales uses the Bio-electrical Impedance Analysis Method (the BIA Method) to measure body compositions. This non-invasive test simply involves your feet touching the four electrode pads on the scale. It is safe as the electrical current is low level and imperceptible.
This scale is not designed for babies or toddlers under 4 years old. Please use baby scales for small children.
There are no findings that Smart Scales are dangerous to pregnant women. However, when pregnant your body compositions differ a lot. This scale will measure your weight accurately, but it is not designed to measure pregnant women’s body compositions.
